KT SAT Company Ltd. (KT SAT), the main satellite tv for pc service supplier in South Korea, and Thales Alenia House, the joint firm between Thales (67%) and Leonardo (33%), have signed the contract for the KOREASAT 6A communications satellite tv for pc.
KOREASAT 6A will substitute the present KORESAT 6 satellite tv for pc and can ship each mounted satellite tv for pc service (FSS) and broadcasting satellite tv for pc service (BSS) to South Korea. It is going to be positioned in geostationary orbit at 116° East.
