(Reuters) – Germany’s Rheinmetall has received an order price greater than 1 / 4 billion euros within the electromobility section, the economic group stated in a press release on Monday.
Rheinmetall stated it will be offering the brand new 900-volt technology of electrically powered autos with a brand new kind of contactor to a premium German automaker.
Contactors are electrically managed switches that make it secure to show electrical autos on and off, stated Rheinmetall.
Beginning in 2025, Rheinmetall will provide tens of hundreds of thousands of those contactors for the automaker’s new automobile platform, the corporate stated.
