STOCKHOLM (Reuters) – Sweden-based Volvo Automobile AB stated on Thursday its gross sales grew 13% year-on-year in December to 72,663 automobiles.
Full-year gross sales fell, nonetheless, by 12% to 615,121 automobiles.
“Volvo Automobiles’ full yr gross sales efficiency was affected by challenges throughout the provision chain, in addition to manufacturing restraints attributable to element shortages and Covid-related lockdowns in China,” Volvo Automobiles, which is majority-owned by China’s Geely Holding, stated in an announcement.
