The primary section was run by SPV named Fast Metro Gurgaon Restricted wef 14.11.2013.
- Second section is between Sikandarpur to Sector-56 with route size of 6.5 km, initially constructed by consortium of two firms of IL&FS i.e. ITNL (IL&FS Transport Community Restricted) and IRL (IL&FS Rail Restricted). This section was run by SPV particularly Fast Metro Gurgaon South Restricted since 31.03.2017
- The operation was taken over by Haryana Mass Fast Transit Firm (HMRTC) since 22.10.2019 by way of Excessive Court docket order when concessionaire backed out to run this method
- The operation of this line has been entrusted to DMRC by HMRTC. Previous to this DMRC continued to run fast metro line wef 16.09.2019.
- Common ridership of Fast Metro Gurugram is about 30,000. In weekdays whole day by day ridership is about 48,000
- Connectivity of proposed line with Fast Metro Line is at Cyber Hub
