Beginning at roughly 16:00 UTC on 29 October 2025, clients and Microsoft providers leveraging Azure Entrance Door (AFD) might have skilled latencies, timeouts, and errors. We’ve confirmed that an inadvertent configuration change was the set off occasion for this subject.

Affected Azure providers might have included, however weren’t restricted to:

App Service, Azure Lively Listing B2C, Azure Communication Providers, Azure Databricks, Azure Healthcare APIs, Azure Maps, Azure Portal, Azure SQL Database, Azure Digital Desktop, Container Registry, Media Providers, Microsoft Defender Exterior Assault Floor Administration, Microsoft Entra ID (Mobility Administration Coverage Service, Id & Entry Administration, and Consumer Administration UX), Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Sentinel (Risk Intelligence), and Video Indexer.

The AFD service is now working above 98% availability. Whereas nearly all of clients and providers are mitigated or seeing sturdy enchancment throughout affected areas, we’re persevering with to work on tail-end restoration for remaining impacted clients and providers. We’ve revised our mitigation time and are at the moment monitoring towards full mitigation by 00:40 UTC on 30 October 2025, although we’ll talk if mitigation is achieved sooner.
