Russia is not going to disclose the information on crude oil export to India and maintain it secret from “too many ill-wishers”, the Kremlin stated on Friday.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov’s feedback got here hours after US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated that Washington has issued a short lived 30-day waiver to permit Indian refiners to buy Russian oil, amid the West Asia battle.

“No, after all, we’re not going to offer any quantitative knowledge for apparent causes. That is the very first thing. There are too many ill-wishers,” Peskov stated.

He was requested to touch upon the Indian media stories about Moscow’s means to ship 22 million barrels of crude in per week.

  Earlier on Thursday, the Russian state TV introduced a map displaying a number of tankers on the transfer from the Arab Sea to the Bay of Bengal in the direction of Indian refineries on the East Coast.

  Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak stated his nation was able to ramp up crude provides to India and China, that are hit by US-Israeli strikes on Iran and the digital closure of oil transit by way of the Strait of Hormuz attributable to Tehran’s retaliatory strikes.
