Sure Financial institution on Wednesday issued a clarification to the exchanges denying media studies carrying a reference to the Reserve Financial institution of India (RBI) giving in-principle approval to the financial institution to carry 20% stake in an asset reconstruction firm (ARC).

The non-public lender has referred to as the studies speculative. It stated that the studies revealed earlier by information companies don’t have any bonafide reference.

The financial institution stated that as knowledgeable earlier, it had initiated a course of for accomplice choice for an ARC vide calling a public expression of curiosity. “At present, the method is underway and at this level of time, there isn’t any binding/efficient resolution on this regard. We will hold the Change(s) knowledgeable of all the fabric improvement as required,” said the discharge.

A BQPrime information report on Tuesday had claimed that the RBI had given the financial institution an in-principle nod to choose up 20% stake in JC Flowers & Co’s ARC.
