A batch of latest courtroom paperwork filed Thursday morning within the ongoing wrongful termination swimsuit in opposition to WPP counsel that Sony voluntarily supplied data to the protection relating to its personal investigation into the holding firm’s enterprise practices.
On Aug. 13, the authorized group for Richard Foster, the previous CEO of GroupM’s Movement Leisure, filed an amended grievance in opposition to WPP that included paperwork from Sony’s personal investigation, which it mentioned “corroborated Foster’s years of whistleblower studies.”
The modification was to Foster’s preliminary lawsuit, filed in October 2025, which alleged WPP had retaliated in opposition to and finally fired the exec for attempting to show what he perceived was a world unlawful rebate scheme.
