The Congress on Saturday appointed Sachin Pilot the overall secretary in-charge of Chhattisgarh and Avinash Pande the overall secretary in-charge of Uttar Pradesh, changing Kumari Selja and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, respectively.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will now be a common secretary “with none assigned portfolio”, based on an announcement issued by the Congress.
