State-owned Canara Financial institution on Tuesday raised rates of interest on fastened deposits throughout numerous maturities by as much as 25 foundation factors. The revised charges are efficient from March 1, 2022, Canara Financial institution stated in a press release.
Rate of interest on fastened deposits for tenure 1 yr has been elevated to five.1 per cent whereas for one-two years it’s raised to five.15 per cent from 5 per cent, it stated.
Mounted deposit between 2-3 years would invite rate of interest of 5.20 per cent and 3-5 years 5.45 per cent from 5.25 per cent earlier, it stated.
Most 25 foundation level hike has been achieved for the 5-10 years fastened deposit slab to five.5 per cent, it added.
Senior residents would earn 50 foundation level extra throughout all of the brackets.
