Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharman will attend G20 finance ministers and central financial institution governors (FMCBG) assembly in Bengaluru on February 24-25.

In response to the official deal with of the finance ministry — @FinMinIndia, it was posted on social media website, “Union Finance Minister Smt. @nsitharaman embarks on go to to #Bengaluru to attend the primary #G20 Finance Ministers and Central Financial institution Governors #FMCBG assembly below #G20 India Presidency, on 24-25 February 2023. #OneEarthOneFamilyOneFuture @g20org”

The FMCBG assembly shall be unfold over two days with Union Finance Minister and RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das collectively steering the G20 FMCBG discussions below G20 India’s Finance Monitor priorities, it added.

The assembly will give attention to priorities below world economic system, worldwide monetary structure, sustainable finance, infrastructure, well being, worldwide taxation, monetary sector and monetary inclusion.

Round 500 overseas delegates have gathered in Bengaluru for the primary G20 FMCBG assembly. The assembly will see participation of finance ministers and central financial institution governors of G20 and invitee international locations, and heads of assorted Worldwide organisations.

On the sidelines of the G20 FMCBG, the Union Finance Minister will maintain bilateral discussions with greater than 10 international locations, together with Italy, US, Spain, Indonesia, and UK; moreover partaking discussions with representatives of worldwide organisations.

The primary G20 FMCBG assembly is preceded by the G20 finance and central financial institution deputies (FCBD) assembly on February 22-23.
