Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar on Saturday mentioned the federal government will quickly launch a seed traceability system to make sure the supply of fine high quality seeds to the farmers.

“It will curb the pilferage within the seed commerce sector,” Tomar mentioned addressing a two-day Indian Seed Congress organized by the Nationwide Seed Affiliation of India within the nationwide capital.

Farmers will profit from its launch and the folks doing good work within the seeds sector may even get assist, an official assertion quoted Tomar having mentioned on the occasion.

The federal government is worried about obstacles confronted within the seeds sector. The ideas have been acquired from the stakeholders on the seed traceability system, he added.
