The Rajasthan authorities on Saturday introduced a 4 per cent enhance within the dearness allowance of the state workers and pensioners.
The pensioners and state authorities workers will now obtain a 42 per cent dearness allowance (DA) with impact from January 1, 2023.
Earlier, 38 per cent DA was being given to them.
The choice will profit about 8 lakh state workers and 4.40 lakh pensioners, in accordance with an official launch.
Other than the state workers, this profit may also be payable to the work-charged, Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad workers.
The state authorities will bear a monetary burden of about Rs 1,640 crore yearly with this enhance.
