The corporate curbed entry to 1,091 gadgets reported by Authorities Companies such because the Malaysia Ministry of Well being for alleged violation of native legal guidelines associated to regulated items and fraud and scams.

TikTok mentioned in a put up final month that it obtained 340 requests in Malaysia to limit content material between January and June 2023 which affected over 800 posts and accounts. Removing price for this era was 91.6%.
