A Japan Airways flight with 379 passengers and crew caught hearth because it landed in Tokyo’s Haneda airport, the nation’s nationwide broadcaster NHK reported on Tuesday. The broadcaster mentioned that each one the passengers and crew had been evacuated, however the aircraft was nonetheless burning.

The officers are extinguishing the flames, it mentioned. A footage on broadcaster NHK confirmed flames popping out of the home windows of the plane. The aircraft – JAL 516 – had originated from Shin-Chitose airport in Hokkaido.

Japanese information broadcast citing authorities mentioned the aircraft may need collided with one other plane belonging to the Japan Coast Guard after touchdown on the Haneda airport. The flight took off from Hokkaido.

The Japan Coast Guard mentioned that it was wanting into the chance that its aircraft crashed with the Japan Airways flight at Haneda airport, Reuters reported.
