Tencent isn't buying Ubisoft, Ubisoft isn't collapsing, and Assassin's Creed is doing all the heavy lifting
Opposite to prior hypothesis, Tencent is neither totally buying Ubisoft nor exiting the businesses’ current $1.25 billion settlement. Throughout an earnings name following the delayed launch of the H1 2025 – 2026 report, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot defined that the postponement occurred as a result of the corporate’s new auditors modified its fiscal accounting strategies.
