The Authorities of India has authorised the Textiles Centered Analysis, Evaluation, Monitoring, Planning and Begin-up (Tex-RAMPS) Scheme, to Strengthen Analysis, Innovation and Competitiveness in Textiles Sector.

The scheme, with a complete outlay of ₹305 crore for the interval FY 2025-26 to FY 2030-31, is co-terminus with the upcoming Finance Fee cycle and will likely be carried out as a Central Sector Scheme, totally funded by the Ministry of Textiles.

Saying the scheme, the Union Minister of Textiles Shri Giriraj Singh stated that the Tex-RAMPS scheme brings collectively analysis, information, and innovation to empower India’s textile sector and place the nation as a worldwide chief in sustainability, expertise, and competitiveness

Geared toward future-proofing India’s textiles and attire (T&A) ecosystem, Tex-RAMPS is designed to deal with vital gaps in analysis, information techniques, innovation assist and capability improvement.

Promotion of superior analysis in good textiles, sustainability, course of effectivity, and rising applied sciences to spice up India’s innovation capability.

3. Built-in Textiles Statistical System (ITSS)
