Notion’s integration with Anthropic apparently had a hiccup this weekend.
Early Sunday morning, the corporate posted, “Anthropic’s Opus 4.7 and 4.8 fashions are experiencing degraded efficiency, which is inflicting a better charge of failures for customers deciding on these fashions in Notion AI.”
Consequently, Notion stated it was disabling use of “all Anthropic fashions” in its automated productiveness instrument.
Twelve hours later, Notion’s head of product Max Schoening wrote that he was “astonished” at “the quantity of individuals RT-ing this as a result of they need a narrative round mannequin high quality to be the explanation.” (In keeping with the general public stats on X, Notion’s submit has been reposted round 1,200 instances.)

In the meantime, an Anthropic spokesperson stated in an announcement, “A quick infrastructure challenge prompted elevated errors on a number of Claude fashions for a brief time period. The difficulty has since been resolved. We’re grateful to our customers for his or her persistence whereas we labored to revive service.”
