Khare attributed the restricted variety of complaints to “very proactive work” by the civil aviation ministry in addressing the difficulty.

The complaints have been forwarded to eJagriti, the federal government’s client grievance portal, for instances involving potential litigation.

IndiGo, the nation’s largest airline, confronted a significant operational disaster in early December 2025 with large flight cancellations, primarily as a result of an absence of planning in implementing the brand new flight obligation norms for pilots.

Over 2,000 flights had been cancelled in every week, stranding hundreds throughout peak journey season, primarily in cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Delhi.
